When creating your company’s branding it’s critical to firmly understand the customer profile of the market you are targeting, the product you are selling and the environment and conditions in which you are promoting that product or service.
This very much depends on the type of business or organisation, or the product or service you offer. This is where viewer perception is influenced most. It’s not just what you say. It’s the way you say it... and that’s all in the brand style.
For example if you’re retailing prestigious cars you wouldn’t choose a bold graphics in a red and yellow theme. Similarly if you’re offering discounted electrical goods you would be well advise to choose a brand in a finesse font with subtle colour scheme.
Your brand must reflect your business or organisation, and the market and customer profile for the product or service you offer or your success will forever be inhibited by it.
Good branding... the right choice of signage, rarely costs more than poor branding at the point of purchase. However, poor branding could cost you a fortune in lost opportunity.
